baroque records are excited and proud to present the third release in this unique series , from Israeli production & dj outfit. The Flash Brothers!

baroque challenges the run of the mill artist album & mix cd, putting an exciting new slant on the concept of a producer compiled album. Those enlisted to take on the ‘elements’ will compile a wish list of tracks for their album.. Then be given the parts that make up each track to remix them, and form a unique & brand new package of tracks that will make up their own dj mix! This series takes the dj / producer relationship to a new level & proves just why the whole transformation from Producer to DJ … DJ to producer, works so well in the modern age!.

Three Israeli brothers , Ruven, Ilan and Shmuel Flaishler make up one of the hottest dance act / DJ teams. Based in Tel Aviv, the boys enjoyed their upbringing in the isolated town of Nazareth in Israel. While growing up, the boys used to listen to the most upfront music in all genres, Their interest stems from an early age, when their father introduced them to late 70s and early 80s disco music. The musical preference of the brothers evolved from disco to new wave electro pop, and then into house, acid, and so on.. The first worldwide success came back in 1998, when 'Amazonas' was signed to Germany's renowned dance label Dos or Die (Zomba). Their first solo artist album entitled Flash, went in the books as the first Israeli club music artist album in the country. Many more productions followed , inc a couple for two of the worlds most prolific DJs, Paul Oakenfold (Perfecto) and John Digweed (Bedrock), signing their tracks to their respective labels. As a trio live act with their music for more than six years now. They have played all around the world. Their 'Amen' track from a couple of years ago was signed to Sony Music UK , their dance label Direction, and reached the official UK pop charts. the boys have also played live on BBC Radio 1 in Ibiza, with Judge Jules to perform the summer anthem Amen live.. now they take on the elements for baroque.
